Jakob Grabmalkunst

Jakob Grabmalkunst is a traditional stone-carving atelier run by Thomas Jakob, serving customers in the Hünibach and Heiligenschwendi area. With decades of experience, the workshop creates handcrafted memorials, sculptures and other works in natural stone. Its gravestone designs include floral themes, mountain imagery, animals, symbols of faith and meaning, and stones selected from customers’ preferred regions. Each memorial is made in the atelier rather than mass-produced, with attention to personal significance, form and craftsmanship.

The business emphasizes quality, honesty, reliability and fair prices, and believes a thoughtfully designed personal memorial need not cost more than an anonymous factory-made stone. Customers can arrange a consultation to discuss ideas, view additional examples and request a no-obligation quotation. Because the team may be working away from the workshop, visits are best arranged by appointment. Jakob Grabmalkunst combines long-standing craft traditions with an individual approach, helping customers create a fitting and distinctive tribute to a person.
