About Junior Achievement Latvia
Junior Achievement Latvia (JA Latvia) is a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to fostering business education and leadership among youth in Latvia. Focused on primary and secondary school students, JA Latvia facilitates a variety of educational initiatives aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy. Its key programs include the "Skolēnu Mācību Uzņēmumi" (Student Company), where students create and operate their own businesses in a real-world context, and the "Līderu Programma" (Leadership Program), designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders aged 16 to 20.
JA Latvia also hosts the "Ēnu Diena" (Job Shadow Day), an internationally recognized career education event that provides students with first-hand experience in various professions.
