About Jama’a
Jama’a Emergency Committee in Jubail is the pioneer volunteer committee dedicated to combating and extinguishing industrial and petrochemical fires, responding to emergencies in the Jubail Industrial region. Initially proposed by SABIC to the Security and Safety Committee, discussions were held with the Royal Commission and the Civil Defense in Jubail in 1981, even before factories commenced production in the area. Established in 1983, Jama’a Emergency Committee embraced the principle of cooperation from the start.
