Jamborinada is a major Scout and Guide gathering in Catalonia, organised by Minyons Escoltes i Guies de Catalunya (MEG). The event brings together members of the scouting and guiding community for a shared weekend, with the 2027 edition scheduled for 10 and 11 April in Cervera. Presented as the largest Scout and Guide gathering ever held in Catalonia, Jamborinada offers participants an opportunity to meet, take part in a collective celebration and connect with the movement’s history and community.

The event’s theme, “Érem, som i serem” (“We were, we are and we will be”), reflects a focus on continuity and shared identity. The website provides information about the programme and schedule, registration and pre-registration, previous gatherings, news and event documentation. It also invites the public to support the event through donations and other forms of collaboration, including its “petals” initiative.

Jamborinada is part of MEG’s wider celebration of scouting and guiding in Catalan, alongside commemorations marking 50 years of the organisation and a century of the movement in Catalan
