Ja Natuurlijk Borstvoedingscentrum

Ja Natuurlijk is a breastfeeding support centre in South-East Brabant, led by lactation consultant Ruth Adriaansens. A member of the Dutch Association of Lactation Consultants (NVL), Ruth has 15 years of experience helping mothers and babies establish and maintain breastfeeding. Her approach is personal and practical, with guidance shaped around each family’s needs and goals.

Services include prenatal consultations, home visits, follow-up appointments, breastfeeding-centre consultations, telephone support and a course for expectant parents. Ja Natuurlijk also offers pumping consultations, helping parents assess their situation and choose a breast pump suited to their needs and budget. Support may cover feeding challenges, milk supply, expressing milk and preparing for breastfeeding. Consultations can include observing a feed, creating a tailored plan and follow-up by phone or messaging.

When appropriate, Ruth works with other professionals, including pre-verbal speech therapists, osteopaths, naturopathic doctors, manual physiotherapists and dietitians. This collaborative approach allows Ja Natuurlijk to connect families with broader support while focusing on the wellbeing of both mother and child.
