Short Game is a free Android app for golfers who want to practise their short game and understand whether their chipping is improving. Created by golfer Mateusz Janiszewski from his own practice experience, it focuses on one clear measure: how often a chip finishes within three feet of the hole, close enough to leave a tap-in. The app offers two ways to record practice.

In the Leap Frog drill, golfers try to land each ball farther than the previous one, while the app tracks their running score and best results. Alternatively, users can log chips on a target green by marking where each ball stops, from holed to more than three feet away. Sessions are recorded by club and contribute to statistics, practice streaks, weekly goals and insights over days, weeks or months.

Optional notes, photos and distance help capture more detail, and users can add a session after playing by setting its date and time
