Jan Kareš Climbing Team, operating the Lezci na cestách climbing club, is a Czech climbing organization focused on developing children and young people through sport. Its activities help participants build fitness, coordination, confidence, resilience, and an appreciation for nature. The club runs regular children’s climbing sessions at the climbing wall in Sportovní hala Kbely in Prague, with instruction from experienced coaches. It also organizes outdoor trips to rock-climbing areas, climbing camps, and sporting excursions in the Czech Republic and abroad.
The organization supports climbing beyond its youth programs by developing and maintaining sport-climbing areas in cooperation with the Czech Mountaineering Association. Its work includes creating and equipping routes for climbers of varied abilities, from children and beginners to experienced athletes. The website provides climbing guides and practical information about access and operating rules for areas including Davle, Branické skály, and Tetínské skály. Visitors can also find details about courses, the Kbely climbing wall, projects, and ways to support the club and its work.
