About Japan Habba
Japan Habba Society organizes Japan Habba, a major Japanese cultural festival in India. Returning to Chamara Vajra in Bengaluru on January 9–10, 2027, the event marks its 21st edition and brings together Japanese pop culture, entertainment, arts, and community experiences. Its program includes Habba Live!, an arena-style concert featuring professional performers from Japan, with music guests spanning idol, anime, video game, and vocasynth scenes.
The Versus Festival celebrates arcade culture, fighting games, and Japanese esports, with featured titles including Street Fighter VI, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Pokémon Champions. Visitors can also explore special events, hands-on workshops, samurai demonstrations, anime-related programming, and appearances by international guests.
Japan Habba provides a platform for exhibitors, sponsors, artists, and hobby-focused vendors, including an Artist Alley and Hobby Area. The 2025 festival reported more than 15,000 in-person attendees, over 120 exhibitors and sponsors, and more than three million organic social media impressions. The Society welcomes sponsorship enquiries and individual contributions to support the festival
