Junior Achievement Rio Grande do Sul

Junior Achievement Rio Grande do Sul (JA RS) is a nonprofit organization that helps young people build skills for work and entrepreneurship through practical, “learning by doing” education. Part of a global initiative, it offers programs for students from the first year of elementary school through the end of their formal schooling. Its educational activities focus on three areas: entrepreneurship, preparation for the job market, and financial education. Programs, courses, games, and learning materials give students opportunities to explore ideas and develop knowledge through hands-on experiences.

JA RS works with schools and vocational institutions, adapting its programs to educational needs, including Brazil’s New High School model. It also partners with companies, industry associations, and government bodies to support entrepreneurial education and contribute to partners’ ESG initiatives. Volunteers bring program activities into classrooms, while students, schools, businesses, and other supporters can participate in different ways. The organization reports its results and social impact publicly and emphasizes youth development, practical learning, and collaboration in preparing students for their future careers.
