JAS-TENSEI is an automotive brand created by JAS Motorsport, drawing on the company’s more than 30 years of international motorsport experience. Its first offering, Tensei, is an ultra-limited supercar inspired by the original Honda NSX. The name means “rebirth” in Japanese, reflecting the project’s aim to renew the car’s character while preserving its distinctive identity and driver-focused spirit. Just 35 cars are planned.
Designed with Pininfarina, Tensei combines Italian styling with Japanese inspiration, featuring reworked proportions, a lowered stance and carbon-fibre bodywork. Its cockpit uses carefully selected materials and finishes, with an emphasis on tactile quality and driver concentration. The car pairs a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6, re-engineered with Judd Power, with a manual transmission and lightweight construction. The engine produces 420 bhp and is bench-tested for performance and reliability.
Specifications include Brembo brakes, forged aluminium wheels and extensive carbon-fibre components. Buyers can choose options such as carbon-ceramic brakes, forged magnesium wheels and alternative carbon-fibre finishes, making Tensei a rare, crafted driving experience.
