Jasněnka

Jasněnka, z.s. is a non-governmental nonprofit organization based in Uničov, Czech Republic. Its mission is to support people with intellectual disabilities in living full and meaningful lives. To pursue this goal, the organization established Jasněnka Day Centre, a social service for young people and adults, and Jasněnka Special Primary School, operated as a public-benefit organization, for children of preschool and school age.

The day centre provides a community-based service, and Jasněnka is working to improve its quality and capacity. A project funded by the European Union through the National Recovery Plan focuses on comprehensively revitalizing the centre’s building, increasing its capacity and reducing its energy use. The project is part of an initiative to expand non-residential community social services.
