Jason Boh’s School of Martial Arts (SMA) is a martial arts school in Portsmouth, UK, offering training for adults and children aged five and over. Its family-friendly classes aim to create a positive, encouraging environment where students can develop physical skills alongside confidence, focus, and mental well-being. The school teaches Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, Thai Boxing, Silat, and grappling through a structured curriculum. Its teaching lineage connects Bruce Lee to Dan Inosanto, Jason Boh, and his students; Boh continues to study with Inosanto annually.
SMA presents martial arts as a path to personal growth, emphasizing discipline, resilience, integrity, humility, loyalty, and respect. Training is intended to improve fitness, coordination, attention, and situational awareness, with lessons that students can apply beyond the training room. Alongside regular group classes, the school offers specialist workshops, seminars, and one-to-one private tuition. Private coaching can be tailored to individual goals and schedules, and is available to beginners and experienced practitioners, either individually or in small groups.
