JAU is a brand that brings together the best of Japanese and Australian design. Founded in 2016 by Sony Mai, JAU aims to showcase the talent and creativity of Australian designers to a wider audience in Japan. Through sharing the stories, inspirations, and production processes of these designers, JAU creates a cultural bridge between the two countries.
The brand offers a wide range of products, including sustainable and eco-friendly items, incense and essential oils, candles, wellness products, home and office decor, picnic and camping essentials, recycled wool blankets, tableware, flower vases and planters, terrariums, lighting fixtures, and more. Alongside its commitment to design, JAU also places great importance on environmental conservation. They actively support this cause by donating 1% of their sales to the organization 1% for the Planet, which is dedicated to protecting the natural environment.
