JAVA Specialty Coffee is a brand that was born out of a passionate pursuit for the perfect coffee experience. The journey began in 2000 when the founder took their first sip of espresso and became determined to find the best coffee drink. They experimented with various brewing methods, but it was only when they discovered specialty and single origin coffee that their needs were finally satisfied. This led them to acquire a range of specialty coffee tools and share their knowledge and experience with others through social media platforms. Eventually, they decided to start their own coffee business.

The brand name, "Java," pays homage to the Island of Java, where coffee was first discovered in Indonesia. As a computer engineer, the founder drew a connection between their IT background and the Java programming language, and thus the name was chosen. The ultimate goal of JAVA Specialty Coffee is to bring a better cup of coffee to you at an affordable price.
