About JAYJAY
JAYJAY is a renowned art gallery located in East Sacramento that has been showcasing fresh and avant-garde artwork to the region for over two decades. With a focus on attracting top artists, JAYJAY's owners, Beth Jones and Lynda Jolley, have built a reputation for integrity, taste, and vision. Their small stable of artists consists of around 20 accomplished painters, sculptors, and photographers, all with extensive exhibition records and regional or national recognition.
What sets JAYJAY apart is their commitment to exhibiting international styles, ranging from high modernism to postmodernism. Artists like Mark Emerson, Roger Berry, and David Wetzl, among others, present their eclectic and abstract creations, catering not only to seasoned art enthusiasts but also to newcomers who have experienced living in metropolitan regions. JAYJAY's influence as tastemakers is also evident in their pivotal role in broadening the artistic landscape of Sacramento, moving away from the traditional styles prevalent in the city and embracing new and inventive artistic expressions.
Founded in 2000 by Jones and Jolley, JAYJAY has continuously grown and expanded its influence in the art community. Their dedication to presenting groundbreaking and innovative artwork is testament to their intuitive aesthetic sense and keen understanding of the city's evolving artistic pulse
