Jay Pantone

Jay Pantone is an Assistant Professor at Marquette University, specializing in symbolic and analytic methods in enumerative combinatorics. His research integrates techniques from analytic combinatorics, computer algebra, and statistical mechanics to solve complex mathematical problems. Jay's recent projects include advancing permutation problems with notable mathematicians like Greg Egan and Vincent Vatter.

He has also developed PermPy, a python library for permutation manipulation, used in various publications. Additionally, Jay has explored growth rates of permutation classes, sorting machines, and approximate asymptotic analysis of combinatorial sequences. Through his innovative approaches and collaborations, Jay Pantone continues to make significant contributions to the field of mathematics, shedding light on challenging mathematical concepts and pushing the boundaries of mathematical knowledge
