JazzAuPhare is the ultimate annual music festival in Ile de Ré, Charente Maritime. It offers a vibrant atmosphere with concerts and entertainment at the iconic Phare des Baleines. This unmissable festival showcases a fusion of jazz and Latin music, bringing together talented musicians from around the world.
From the spicy flamenco jazz of D'ANTONIO LIZANA to the lively and danceable salsa of ROBERTO FONSECA, the musical performances are nothing short of sensational. BERNARD LAVILLIERS adds a touch of Brazil, Cuba, and Jamaica with his reinterpretation of his legendary album O Gringo. The festival also features a unique blend of classical and jazz music, as BIRÉLI LAGRÈNE collaborates with the symphony orchestra of Musique en Ré.
In addition to the main concerts, JazzAuPhare offers an exciting off-festival experience with before and after Jazz events that enthuse the audience. Despite the challenging weather conditions during the festival, including the powerful storm Patricia, JazzAuPhare demonstrated exceptional organization and resilience. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated artists, enthusiastic audience, committed partners, local authorities, and the 80 faithful volunteers who made this festival a resounding success.
