Jazz by the Sea is a free jazz festival held in Domburg, Zeeland, bringing live music to the Dutch coast. Its 34th edition is scheduled for 17–20 September 2026, with performances across the town’s streets, restaurants, bars and dedicated stages. The festival combines musical tradition with new sounds, featuring three stages: Classic, Fusion and New Wave.
Its programme spans more than 40 performances and includes over 350 artists, with styles ranging from swing, blues and acoustic jazz to contemporary fusion. Visitors can explore artist information, browse the schedule and venues, plan their visit, and save favourite performances and receive reminders through the festival website. The event welcomes around 40,000 visitors each year and offers free access, supported by sponsors, donors and friends of the festival.
Alongside its performances, Jazz by the Sea promotes cultural connection, supports emerging musical talent and invites local businesses, artists, volunteers and audiences to contribute to a vibrant regional arts scene. Food and drink are available through Domburg’s restaurants, cafés and terraces
