The Jennifer Bush-Lawson Foundation (JB-LF) is an Arlington, Virginia nonprofit dedicated to helping economically vulnerable women access prenatal care and support so mothers and babies can thrive. Inspired by founder Jennifer Bush-Lawson’s experience with complicated pregnancies and recognition that many mothers lack comparable care, the foundation works with local healthcare providers and community partners to reduce barriers to a healthy start.

JB-LF supports access to prenatal care through transportation, telemedicine, monitoring, and healthcare partnerships. It also helps families bring newborns home safely by providing car seats, Pack ’n Plays, breastfeeding supplies, diapers, and other essentials. Its partnerships, programs, and research aim to improve maternal health and address obstacles faced by low-income and uninsured mothers. The foundation reports supporting more than 3,000 families, funding over 200 newborn well-child visits, and helping deliver a telemedicine initiative associated with a 61% reduction in NICU admissions.

Community members can donate, volunteer, or partner with the organization. Its annual Run for Moms & Babies 5K and Carnival raises funds and celebrates local impact.
