About JCF San Diego
The Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego (JCF) is a community foundation established in 1967 to strengthen Jewish communities and advance sustainable, just, and vibrant societies in San Diego, Israel, across the United States, and around the world. It brings together philanthropy, investment, and education to help donors and organizations create lasting community benefit.
For individuals and families, JCF offers donor-advised and endowment funds, charitable giving opportunities, legacy and estate-planning support, and guidance on tax-efficient giving. Its programs also include group philanthropy initiatives, scholarship opportunities, donor education, impact investing, and opportunities for Jewish women and teens to learn and give. JCF supports nonprofit organizations through education, consulting, grant opportunities, leadership development, and professional investment management services designed to build organizational capacity and long-term strength. It also works with professional advisors through its Trusted Charitable Advisor program and learning events, helping them integrate charitable planning into client relationships. Through these services and partnerships, JCF encourages individuals, families, nonprofits, and advisors to collaborate in addressing community needs and expanding the impact of giving.
