JDA Architects

JDA Architects is an architectural practice focused on designing communities, environments and homes. Its approach starts with understanding people and their needs, combining thoughtful form and practical function to create spaces with a clear social purpose. The practice uses knowledge, experience and empathy to balance client objectives with the needs and aspirations of the individuals and communities projects serve.

JDA’s work spans regeneration, housing, care environments and one-off homes. Featured projects include regeneration schemes in Birkenhead and Salford, housing in Prescot and Droylsden, a care project in Cheshire, and an individual dwelling in Chorley. The practice also explores retrofit, reuse and repurposing, alongside placemaking perspectives intended to help shape communities and opportunities.

Its design work includes homes intended to nurture communities and support improved living, as well as dedicated environments offering support, shelter, comfort, dignity and independence. JDA collaborates with clients and specialist partners to develop practical, considered design responses. With offices in Liverpool and Manchester, the practice shares project news, articles and brochures about its work and design approach.
