J-Doc is a pioneering digital archive dedicated to documenting the Soviet government's policies related to Jewish communities throughout the USSR. As the largest collection of its kind, J-Doc focuses on revealing the systematic pressure exerted on Jewish populations during the Stalin era and beyond. The project aims to expand its timeline from the 1930s to the 1970s, encompassing key historical events and policies associated with state-sponsored antisemitism.

Currently, the archive features materials primarily from Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, with ambitions to broaden its geographical scope. J-Doc collaborates with various archives to provide valuable resources that uncover over fifty years of Soviet history, reflecting the persistence of antisemitism even after Stalin's death. Supported by the Nadav Foundation, J-Doc serves as an essential educational tool, offering researchers, historians, and the public access to previously inaccessible documents that reveal the complexities of state interactions with Jewish citizens throughout the late 20th century
