Jean Atchison

Atchison Architectural Interiors is a Chicago-based interior design firm led by designer Jean Atchison, creating tailored spaces for residential and commercial clients. The firm serves homeowners seeking comfortable, functional interiors that reflect their personalities and lifestyles, from downtown apartments to historic homes. Its commercial work includes offices, retail stores, restaurants, and hotels, with designs shaped around each business’s identity, operations, and customer experience.

The design process begins with discovery meetings to understand goals, space requirements, preferences, and budget. The team then develops design concepts and plans, selects products and materials, prepares specifications, and coordinates purchasing, fabrication, construction, and installation. Services include space planning and selections for furnishings, lighting, flooring, millwork, colors, finishes, and other construction elements. Project management and coordination continue through completion.

Atchison Architectural Interiors also considers practical priorities such as blending contemporary and traditional styles, integrating smart-home features, and using sustainable materials and energy-efficient lighting where appropriate. In addition to Chicago, the firm lists service areas including Palm Beach, Naples, Vail, Aspen, and Lake Geneva.
