The Electromagnetic Wave Information Center (JEIC) is a neutral, permanent organization established in 2008 under the auspices of the Japan Electrical Safety and Environment Research Institute. Its primary aim is to enhance risk communication regarding the health effects arising from electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure, ensuring accurate information reaches the public. As a unique entity globally, JEIC strives to bridge the information gap concerning EMF-related health risks among stakeholders.

The center offers various services, including free lending of low-frequency electromagnetic field measurement devices and organizing seminars with expert speakers. Additionally, JEIC actively disseminates knowledge through newsletters and email magazines, providing the community with timely and trustworthy information. Through rigorous analysis and independent oversight, the organization maintains a high level of expertise, neutrality, and transparency, facilitating a clearer understanding of electromagnetic waves' impact on health.
