Jempson's

Jempson’s is an independent superstore rooted in Peasmarsh, where it has served the local community since 1935. The brand brings traditional homemade foods to customers and combines grocery shopping with a broad range of local services and hospitality. Its Local Kitchen restaurant focuses on fresh, seasonal produce from the surrounding area, including Sussex cheeses, Jempson’s own sausages and bread from Rye Bakery. Open Monday to Saturday, it also offers a pre-booked Sussex afternoon tea for two, with sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and preserve.
