by Jennifer Blake Fraser

Jennifer Blake Fraser is an artist and photographer whose website brings together landscape photography, encaustic painting, and guidance for photographers. Her work invites visitors to appreciate the distinctive beauty of places and the changing effects of light. The photography galleries feature images captured during her travels and reflect her long-standing interest in landscapes and fleeting moments of natural illumination.

Fraser also creates encaustic paintings, an art form made by layering pigmented, melted beeswax blended with damar resin. Each layer is fused with heat before the next is applied, building depth and producing a durable finished work. She commonly uses a butane torch for this process, giving her control as she works.

Visitors can explore separate collections of photography and encaustics through the site’s galleries. It also offers a guide to better photography, with sections covering getting started, composition, exposure, processing, and camera phone tips. Together, these offerings present Fraser’s creative practice and provide resources for people interested in viewing or improving photography.
