Je passe à l’électrique is an EDF initiative offering eligible households a fixed €1,000 grant toward installing an air-to-water or water-to-water heat pump. The scheme is designed for modest- and very modest-income households in mainland France, including Corsica, replacing a gas or oil boiler. The grant can be combined with MaPrimeRénov’ and/or the Coup de Pouce CEE heat pump incentive, regardless of the household’s electricity supplier or chosen RGE-certified installer.

Applicants first create an account, check their eligibility, and submit supporting documents for review. Once approved, they complete the installation with the RGE installer named in their application, then provide the final invoice and remaining documents, including identification and bank details. If the application is validated, the grant is paid to the applicant.

The offer applies to qualifying projects with a quote made from 8 April 2026, subject to stated deadlines and a limit of 80,000 applications. The website provides eligibility guidance, income thresholds, FAQs, contact options, and account access to help users manage their grant request
