Jersey Animal Rescue

Jersey Animal Rescue (J.A.R.) is a Monmouth County, New Jersey, animal rescue project founded by a group of passionate animal advocates. The organization works to improve the lives of local animals by connecting them with homes and supporting community-based rescue efforts. Its mission is to find homes for animals throughout Monmouth County through a network of foster caregivers and volunteers, helping alleviate overcrowding and prevent unnecessary euthanasia in shelters. J.A.R.’s vision is for every pet in the county to have a home and for New Jersey to become a no-kill state.

The organization shares information about adoptable animals, including cats, and invites people to contact its team to learn about adoption. For those who cannot adopt, fostering offers a way to care for an animal until a permanent home is found. J.A.R. also welcomes donations, which help sustain its work, and lists TNR among its programs. Visitors can reach out with questions, adoption or fostering inquiries, or general messages through the organization’s contact form and social media channels.
