About Jesuit Alumni Ireland
Jesuit Alumni/ae Ireland (JAI) is a vibrant and inclusive community of past pupils, friends, and teachers from Jesuit-run colleges across Ireland. Our aim is to find and engage all alumni/ae, creating a growing community of 'More People For Others.'
As a collective, we represent some of Ireland's oldest Jesuit-run colleges, including Clongowes Wood College, S.J., Belvedere College, S.J., Crescent Comprehensive College, S.J., Colaiste Iognaid, S.J. (the Jes), Mungret College, S.J., and Gonzaga College, S.J. Inspired by the global challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we emerged in 2020 and have since organized a wide range of webinars and a fitness-fundraiser for the Jesuit Refugee Services.
To ensure effective communication and collaboration, we work closely with our respective Past Pupil Unions and groups, with representatives from each college administration involved in our committee. We have also expanded our presence globally, with JAI chapters developing in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, the USA and Canada, and the Middle East.
