Jewish Home Family

The Jewish Home Family is a New Jersey and New York elder-care organization founded in 1915 in Jersey City. For more than 110 years, it has focused on providing high-quality, individualized care for older adults, addressing evolving needs while maintaining a strong commitment to the Jewish community. Its family of organizations includes the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home Assisted Living, and the Jewish Home Foundation.

Opened in 2001, the Jewish Home at Rockleigh welcomes people of all religious backgrounds. Located on a 16-acre campus in Bergen County, the 192-bed facility provides long-term skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation for residents of Bergen, Rockland, and Hudson Counties. Its services include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, dementia care, respite and hospice care, and specialized support through the Harold Krieger Center for Parkinson’s and Memory Care. Residents receive support from nurses, aides, therapists, dietitians, and social workers in a modern setting with private rooms. The facility also offers Glatt Kosher meals under KHC supervision.
