About Jewish Federation of San Diego
The Jewish Federation of San Diego County, part of the Jewish Federations of North America, has a rich history of uniting and supporting the local Jewish community as well as Jews in Israel and around the world. With origins dating back to 1936, the Federation has been dedicated to combating antisemitism, promoting Jewish life, and addressing critical needs such as Jewish poverty and security.
The Federation offers a wide range of services, including community events, leadership programs, professional awards, and podcasting. It also provides opportunities for engagement at all stages of life, from early childhood and teenage years to young adulthood and beyond. Additionally, the Federation is actively involved in global impact initiatives, such as supporting Israel and aiding in emergency relief efforts.
By mobilizing the community's resources and leaders, the Federation lives out its mission of strengthening Jewish identity, fostering connections with Israel, and caring for all Jews in need, both locally and internationally.
