Rockland Federation

Jewish Federation & Foundation of Rockland County is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that brings together the county’s Jewish community and supports Jewish people locally and around the world. Guided by Jewish ethics, it works to identify and assist vulnerable populations, address community security needs, strengthen connections to Israel, combat antisemitism, and celebrate Jewish identity. Its work includes supporting security initiatives in Rockland County and helping vulnerable Jewish populations in more than 70 countries.

The Federation offers ways for community members to take part through advocacy, volunteer opportunities, events, educational programs, and campaigns. Its activities include adult Jewish education, a community events calendar, PJ Library, Israel-related initiatives, and opportunities to engage with elected officials. Its Jewish Voices, Jewish Lives program shares perspectives and stories, while its book campaign encourages readers to support Jewish authors by reviewing selected books. The organization also provides information for reporting antisemitic or anti-Israel incidents and publishes newsletters, annual reports, community updates, and resources about local synagogues and organizations.
