JEZ MARTIAL ARTS

JEZ Martial Arts is a Sydney training organisation offering sports karate, kickboxing and boxing for children, teens, men and women. With classes at Bonnyrigg Sports Club and Lights Out Fight Club in Moorebank, the club welcomes beginners and experienced participants, and offers a free first class. Its approach encourages students to learn, compete and achieve while developing fitness, confidence and practical skills.

Sports karate combines responsive techniques and self-defence with exercise and personal development. Kickboxing teaches stand-up striking, using punches and kicks, with some classes incorporating knee strikes. Boxing focuses on fist-based techniques and the skills used in timed bouts. Training is available for fitness, recreation and competition.

The team includes founder and head instructor Steve Jez, a seven-time Australian professional kickboxing champion and karate black belt with more than 38 years of teaching and coaching experience. He is also a Karate World silver medalist and Asian gold medalist. Dragomir Dubocanin, founder and head instructor at Lights Out FC, is a world and South Pacific champion who was trained by Steve Jez.
