JFajardo Woodturner is an independent woodturning studio based on Hawaii Island, creating hand-turned sculptural vessels from island-grown hardwoods. The work brings together the maker’s curiosity and experimentation with the natural character of each piece of wood, resulting in distinctive forms that celebrate the grain, shape, and story of the material.

The studio works with woods such as Koa, Milo, and ʻŌhiʻa, sourced from naturally fallen trees and salvaged logs rather than live native trees. Guided by sustainability, the workshop is part of a working homestead that integrates native hardwood plantings with orchards and food crops. The maker also repurposes discarded wood, giving it a renewed purpose through functional and sculptural art.

Customers can browse and purchase the woodturner’s collection through the online shop, learn about the creative process and related topics, and buy gift cards for others. JFajardo Woodturner presents each vessel as a one-of-a-kind expression of craftsmanship, responsible sourcing, and a connection to the natural environment and spirit of island life.
