John F. Davies Fine Art presents the work of John Francis Davies, a classically trained fine artist and Marine Corps veteran. His practice brings together three broad areas of interest: prehistory, wildlife, and military subjects.
The website offers visitors galleries of his artwork, featuring varied mediums and interpretations, and organizes the work into Paleo Art, Military Art, and Personal Art collections. These galleries provide an overview of Davies’s artistic range, from depictions inspired by the ancient past and the natural world to military themes and personal projects. The site also includes a biography and artist statement, a résumé, and information for those interested in sales or contacting the artist.
Davies’s presentation reflects a belief in the central role of the arts in a nation’s life, underscored by a quotation from John F. Kennedy. The website serves as a portfolio and point of contact for exploring Davies’s work and learning more about his background.
