Froelich Quarter Horses is a North Dakota breeding program with roots in the Froelich family’s horse-breeding tradition, which began in the late 1920s. Lance and Sunshine Froelich continue this legacy, raising AQHA-registered Quarter Horses with proven bloodlines, strong conformation, cow sense, and thoughtful dispositions. The program focuses on versatile, ranch-bred horses suited to the needs of cattlemen and rodeo competitors, with prospects intended to perform and endure in varied settings, from the ranch and arena to the trail.
Froelich Quarter Horses offers foals, yearlings, and broke horses, including private treaty prospects, and features stallions and broodmares as part of its breeding program. The family also conducts on-site artificial insemination. Its horses are bred for performance and versatility, with an emphasis on strong minds and practical ability. Based in Selfridge, North Dakota, Froelich Quarter Horses presents its offerings through its Sale Barn and shares information about its breeding program, horses, and family history through its website.
