JFSHK

Jämtlandsfjällens Slädhundklubb (JFSHK) is a sled-dog club based in Jämtland, Sweden, bringing together people interested in dogsledding and related activities. The club supports its members through training sessions, competitions, and other events, creating opportunities to develop skills, share knowledge, and enjoy time with fellow dog enthusiasts. Its activities cover several disciplines, including sledding, Nordic style, dog skiing, and dryland mushing.

JFSHK also organises events such as Fjällsikten Open and promotes activities including Amundsen Race and Åredraget. Training camps, including gatherings at Majik Mushing in Sörbygden, combine practical dog training with learning and community. The club provides information and resources for participants, including event schedules, start and result lists, chip lists, trail maps, documents, meeting minutes, and its member publication, Dragbladet.

Membership information and season updates are available through the club, which is run by a board and serves a community of members across the region. JFSHK’s focus is on supporting sled-dog sport through organised activities, useful resources, and a welcoming club community
