The Jagdgebrauchshundverein Oberfranken e.V. (JGV Oberfranken) is a hunting-dog association focused on preparing dogs and their handlers for practical working-dog examinations. It serves beginners, experienced trainers, and others seeking guidance in developing effective cooperation with their dogs. The association provides training in many subjects relevant to examination requirements, with participants directed to the appropriate contact person according to the test they are preparing for.

JGV Oberfranken also operates as an examination club and holds a substantial range of examinations each year. Its training and testing activities make use of water, field, and woodland hunting areas available to the association. Information about current training courses and scheduled examinations is published in its online calendar. The club’s work brings together instruction and formal assessment, helping handlers prepare for the examinations they intend to undertake with their dogs. Questions about training can be directed to the association’s training contacts, while its examination director handles inquiries about tests. The website also shares association news, dates, and membership information.
