Speech Pathology

Jacinta Heskett Speech Pathology provides speech pathology services for children and families in Melbourne. Jacinta Heskett is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia, with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University, completed in 2002. She has extensive experience assessing and supporting children aged 0–18 with communication difficulties and developmental disorders.

Services include comprehensive assessments of children’s communication skills and intervention for a broad range of communication delays and disorders. Jacinta’s approach aims not only to improve a child’s communication, but also to build lifelong learning strategies. Her practice offers information and support for parents, and she also presents to professionals and organisations working with children and families, including childcare centres, schools, universities and mothers’ groups.

Jacinta is an approved early intervention provider for Helping Children with Autism and Better Start for Children with Disability, and a health professional under the Chronic Disease Management program.
