Jim Byrd Photography is a renowned brand in the Metroplex photography industry. With over three decades of experience, Jim Byrd has established himself as a skilled and talented photographer. His journey started in 1986, after serving in the Navy as a ship's photographer.

Building on his passion, he pursued a degree in Photography from Sam Houston State University. Throughout his career, Jim has honed his skills in various areas of photography. He gained expertise in product photography while working for Lee Angle Photography, a premier commercial photographer.

He further expanded his knowledge by working in a portrait studio with LC Gilstrap. In 1983, Jim decided to embark on his entrepreneurial journey and founded Jim Byrd Photography. Since then, he has captured over 1000 weddings and countless engagement sessions, bridal sessions, and family portraits.

Today, Jim Byrd Photography specializes in high school senior portraits, school sports photography, family portraits, charity events, and corporate events.
