Jim Horne Golf

The Jim Horne Golf Foundation supports young golf students in Western New York, with a focus on expanding diversity and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups. Its work is guided by F.O.C.U.S.: Family Support, Opportunity for All, Community Involvement, Understanding of Golf, and Self Respect. Since 1997, founder Jim Horne has dedicated his retirement to teaching golf fundamentals and etiquette, primarily to inner-city and minority youth, at no cost to their families.

The Foundation offers golf lessons and equipment, organizes local tournaments, and provides college scholarships. Its programs aim to make the sport accessible while helping students develop skills and pursue educational opportunities. The organization reports that it has impacted more than 500 children in the Western New York area, served communities for over 20 years, and supported more than 10 students who went on to play golf at the collegiate level. Hundreds of other students have continued on to graduate from college.
