Jim Joseph Fdn

The Jim Joseph Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to the continued flourishing of the Jewish people and the culture, wisdom, and practices of Jewish life and learning. Its mission is to foster compelling, effective Jewish learning experiences for young Jews. Working with grantee partners, the Foundation supports efforts that help Jews, their families, and friends lead connected, meaningful, purpose-filled lives and contribute positively to their communities and the wider world.

The Foundation provides strategic grants and support to Jewish nonprofit organizations and initiatives with proven approaches to learning and talent development. Its deliberate strategy backs exemplary programs, while its emergent strategy invests in talent, ideas, and opportunities that can create new value for Jewish life. It also pursues a technology strategy to support grantees. Alongside grantmaking, the Foundation shares research, evaluation, learning resources, and perspectives on effective practice. Its work addresses Jewish learning at different points in people’s lives and includes partnerships and initiatives focused on education, community, and young adult Jewish life.
