Jim Marshall Photography LLC is the legacy of legendary photographer Jim Marshall, who created hundreds of iconic images during his 50-year career. Known for his music photography, Marshall's work appeared in magazines, over 500 album covers, and twelve books, both before and after his passing in 2010. His last book, Pocket Cash: Johnny Cash, was approved by him just weeks before his death.
Marshall's contributions to the music industry were so significant that he became the first and only photographer to be awarded the Recording Academy's TRUSTEE AWARD, an honorary Grammy. In 2014, the award was given to the Jim Marshall estate, recognizing his unparalleled chronicling of music history.
