Jim's Steakout is a Buffalo-based brand that has been serving high-quality food and exceptional service for over 35 years. It all started when Jim, a local guy from the West Side of Buffalo, was inspired by the Philly Cheesesteak and wanted to bring it to the Elmwood Village. Before opening his first restaurant, Jim spent weeks perfecting his own steak sauce in his West Side apartment kitchen, much to the slight irritation of his wife.

In 1981, he opened the first Jim's Steakout on Elmwood Avenue and focused on serving the night owls with his amazing food, signature steak sauce, and even introduced the unique Chicken Finger Sub. Over the years, Jim's Steakout grew to multiple locations with a dedicated and hardworking team. Today, although Jim is no longer behind the counter, he remains involved in the business and ensures that the best ingredients are used to make the hoagies just like he did over 35 years ago.
