The Jacksonville Education Foundation supports students and educators in Jacksonville Independent School District (JISD) in Jacksonville, Texas. Its mission is to encourage innovative teaching and learning, motivate students and teachers through community support, and provide funding and resources for campus and district programs that are not funded by tax dollars.

The foundation offers classroom grants to help teachers support learning across JISD campuses. It reports awarding more than $222,000 through over 117 grants distributed across eight campuses. It also awards scholarships to qualifying JISD students, with more than $286,000 granted to date. Donors help fund these programs and sustain the foundation’s support for local public education.

Community members can contribute through donations and other giving opportunities, nominate people for the Influential Indians recognition, and learn about the foundation’s partners and activities. The foundation also offers Tomato Bowl pavers for order and hosts a tournament registration program. Through these resources and opportunities, it works to strengthen educational experiences and help students and teachers thrive in Jacksonville.
