Progressive Fighting Systems of Virginia, operating as Warrior Martial Arts LLC, provides martial arts and self-defense instruction in Virginia Beach. Led by Chief Instructor Sifu Barry Jenkins, the school offers classes for adults, teens, and children, with small-group instruction and options for private lessons. Its programs include Contemporary and Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Bart Vale’s Shootfighting, and Tracy’s Kenpo. Training covers stand-up combat, grappling, weapons defense, and practical self-defense, with programs designed for students of varied ages, sizes, and levels of physical conditioning.

Children’s classes focus on respect, confidence, concentration, and bullying prevention, while the teen program teaches strategies for responding to bullying. The school also offers women’s self-defense training and intensive personal training. Students interested in instructor development can pursue certified ranks in Jeet Kune Do, and instructor training courses are available. The school highlights Jenkins’s experience in Jeet Kune Do and his association with Progressive Fighting Systems founder Paul Vunak. Warrior Martial Arts presents its instruction as practical personal-protection training rather than sport-focused martial arts.
