Japan Karate Federation NW Headquarters

Japan Karate Federation Ryobu-Kai Northwest (JKFNW) Hombu Dojo is a karate school in Hillsboro, Oregon, offering training rooted in Japanese karate tradition. Its program welcomes students from age seven to 97, whether they are beginners or experienced practitioners, naturally athletic or just starting out, and interested in competition or recreational practice. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students can develop karate skills and self-defense while building balance, strength, endurance, confidence, and self-discipline. Training also emphasizes personal goals and a stronger connection between mind and body.

JKFNW presents karate as an active, engaging practice for individuals and families. The dojo offers classes, a beginner package of three months of training with a uniform included, and events such as color belt tests, group training, summer camp, and all-age tournaments, including the Yoshida Cup. Students can explore class schedules, locations, and pricing through the organization, which also provides information about its instructors, history, and founder, Junki Yoshida.
