JKSM

Jabatan Kehakiman Syariah Malaysia (JKSM) is a central government agency under Malaysia’s Prime Minister’s Department. It coordinates and promotes consistency in the administration of Syariah law and the Syariah courts across the country. Guided by a commitment to transparency, ethics and quality, JKSM works to strengthen the role of Syariah within Malaysia’s justice system and support accessible, efficient court administration.

Through its official portal, JKSM provides information about its departments, programmes, court statistics, publications, announcements and procurement opportunities. Its online services include case checking, Sulh partner information, e-consultation, access to legal enactments and practice directions, court schedules, and placement or transfer information. The portal also offers complaint and feedback channels, frequently asked questions, information requests and directories for officers and Syariah courts.

JKSM’s work is supported by specialist functions covering family support, training, information technology, research, records, communications and integrity. Its digital systems are intended to help improve the efficiency, transparency and integrity of Syariah legal administration. The agency shares updates and media through its official social channels.
