JL SPORT

JL Sports is a Finnish manufacturing business based in Kuortti, in the heart of South Savo. Founded by entrepreneur Jukka Lahti, the company has grown from a small flower-industry business into a specialist producer of injection-moulded plastic products and sporting goods. Its work combines product design, manufacturing expertise, quality and dependable delivery.

JL Sports makes products used in a range of settings, from touring skates to ski-pole baskets, with many of its ideas and product models developed by Lahti. Product development is a continuing part of the business, particularly for equipment used in skiing and other sports. The company also designs and builds much of the finishing equipment used in its own production, reflecting its practical, hands-on approach to manufacturing.

In addition to its own products, JL Sports lists subcontracting among its areas of business. Its industrial facility is located in Kuortti, which the company describes as having good transport connections throughout Finland.
