About J. Marchini Farms
Joe's Premium is a renowned brand that offers a wide range of high-quality produce. Founded in the 1920s by Florindo Marchini, the brand initially focused on tomatoes before expanding into other vegetables. However, it was in the 1980s that Joe Marchini, Florindo's son, became the original radicchio grower in the United States.
This unique lettuce caught the attention of salad companies across America, quickly becoming a popular addition to bagged salads. In 1989, Joe's son Jeff joined the family business and started J. Marchini Farms, exclusively dedicated to perfecting the radicchio operation.
Through years of experimentation and hard work, they have built a successful seed supply and developed effective growing techniques. Today, J. Marchini Farms is in its fourth generation of management, focusing on quality, satisfaction, and hard work, traits passed down through the family's strong values and heritage.
